The Outaouais Outdoor Index is a project of Loisir sport Outaouais in partnership with Outaouais Tourism and several other regional partners.

Its goal : simplify planning for your next outdoor adventure.

The idea of a tool promoting the quality of outdoor infrastructure in the region was one of the first priorities of the Outaouais Outdoors Action Plan (PAPA-O).

The PAPA-O was developed by a representative group of private and public actors. It is a blueprint to offer all citizens of the region the opportunity for regular access to the outdoors, in a rich natural and cultural environment. The Plan presents priorities and choices for concerted action.

Back to the project. The Index is a dynamic tool. It will continue to be enhanced and, over time, will add several more outdoor sites and activities to its database.

You can help us improve the Outaouais Outdoor Index.

Write to us to suggest additions or make a request for your organization. The promotion of an outdoor activity on the directory is completely free, but requires a field inventory.

To do this, we have outdoor professionals who take care of visiting the sites to collect all the information needed and evaluate the quality of the outdoor experience. This inventory exercise is also free.
